The activities of the UF Flavor Center represent multidisciplinary efforts across diverse scientific fields.  For this reason, the UF Flavor Center offers an unique experience in postdoctoral, graduate and undergraduate training.  Cross-discipline training in plant breeding, plant molecular biology, and biochemistry, along with a relevant interface to consumer ideals, promises to produce well-rounded scientists to lead tomorrow's work force in food science and production.

Immediate opportunities may be available. Corporate-sponsored graduate training plans are tailored to provide a pedagogical and research background that will match industry demands.  A series of internships directed at providing reciprocal academic-industry training may also be possible.
